NTP Forklifts Australia recently provided them with a Kalmar DRT450 (45 tonne capacity Reach Stacker fitted with rail handling attachments) as part of their materials handling solution to a rail project they were working on.
They had a requirement to move rail sections and were using cranes, which were very slow, and required operator and dogman. However, the Kalmar Reach Stacker provided a far more efficient solution.
NTP Forklifts Australia was able to provide a solution (as per pictures). The customer is very happy with the solution provided and it was a great effort by the team in NTP’s Brisbane office to install and deliver this unit on time and budget.
