ODLS commonly uses them for oversized Power Transformers or Generators weighing over 180 ton. Super load beam set transport equipment is specifically engineered to accommodate heavy and oversized loads, with beams and supports reinforced to handle the weight and dimensions of the cargo effectively.

Platform Trailers
Platform trailers are specialised multi axle trailers designed for heavy haulage and capable of carrying machinery and equipment over 59 ton. Due to their customisable configurations and impressive load-bearing capacity, they are considered the unsung heroes of transportation. ODLS’s fleet contains two types of platform trailers, one lightweight with lower travel height and the other heavier with more carrying capacity and bending moment.

Heavy Rated Prime Movers
These prime movers, capable of towing up to 250 tons, are like the heavyweight champions of transportation. ODLS has a number of 250T rated prime movers, meaning a multi prime mover combination will have fewer vehicles attached using the ODLS fleet. This reduces the overall transport length, minimising the number of days on road and number of third party escorts, keeping project costs to a minimum while increasing safety and manoeuvrability.

Crane Vehicles
Crane Semis
Crane Semis are specialised semi-trailers equipped with mounted crane systems capable of lifting heavy loads. The “85t/m” capacity indicates that these crane semis can theoretically lift 85 ton at 1 meter from the centre of the slew ring. While this is not possible in reality, due to the physical location of the crane on the vehicle, it can still outlift a 30 ton slewing crane with an impressive 1.4 ton at 27.5m lift on a live running rope. This high capacity makes them suitable for lifting in tight access environments such as the built up areas and inside buildings commonly found in industries such as power, construction and engineering, while also offering the advantage of combining transportation capabilities with crane functionality.
Crane Trays
Crane trays with a capacity of 21t/m are specialised trays or platforms designed to be used with cranes for lifting and transporting heavy loads. With serious lifting capacity 680kg at 19.22m packed into a 10.95 meter long vehicle, these assets are invaluable in built up local areas. ODLS utilise these crane trays in small local substations where real estate is a premium. Where the tray size is more limited for transport, the crane tray accepts deliveries on smaller tray trucks, keeping the project moving efficiently and safely.
Tray Trucks
Tray Trucks refers to the shorter, light weight hauler of our industry, moving 8 – 12 ton on a compact 8 – 12m length vehicle. These trucks have flatbeds trays which are vital for smaller parts and machinery, also carting equipment supporting the over dimensional transport Industry.
